Sorry this hasn’t been updated in awhile. May & June were extremely busy. Thanks for everyone’s hard work during Madre’s Day, HDLT’09, & Padre’s Day.. Also, congrats to our graduates Sara & John! ;] We love you both and are soo proud!

I know that’s a lot to read through but we’ll continue to update/announce these events every week :) . Keep checking back!

So a few reallllllllllllllllly important things to pay attention to:
1-Canada Trip. July 18th&18th. We’ll be joining Surrey [NHAC] Alliance for their picnic. 18+ only please. We’re staying the night and will announce the cost soon!
2-FUNDRAISING & C+C Camp. We have 3 fundraising opportunities for C&C camp. Our goal is to make at least $1,000 bc we estimate our total cost for camp including food, guest speaker, supplies, will be around $1,250. Again, this is an 18+ camp, going to be Sept. 11th-13th @ Wallace Falls, $30 per person, $35 after Aug. 3oth. We rented 4 cabins and estimate approx. 25 people will be attending.

It’s coming up fast. Sorry for the lack of updates.

This friday we’re having ACCOUNTABILITY. :) Hope to see you all there! We’ll be starting up on a video series called NOOMA very soon. They’re awesome videos taht you can learn a lot from, so hopefully you’ll all be able to make it! Also, at the end of this month is family camp, so that friday there will be NO YOUTH GROUP. :)

SUMMER CAMP is coming up soon! More details later.

Next week we’ll be startibng accountability and making keycvhains for Father’s day.

The week after that we’ll be having a Graduation/Out Of School barbeque at Carkeek Park, meet at church at 6pm!

And the final week of June we’ll be starting Nooma videos.

What: Food Lifeline

About:
Food Lifeline is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Western Washington. Food Lifeline makes every penny count. 90% of the food we receive from local, state and national contributors is donated, allowing us to provide nine dollars worth of food to hungry people for every donated dollar.

Working to End Hunger
Last year, Food Lifeline secured 21 million pounds of food – the equivalent of 17 million meals – to feed hungry families and individuals throughout Western Washington. Food Lifeline provides food to 600,00 people through our network of 300 emergency feeding programs including food banks, hot meal programs and shelters.

Innovative Solutions
Food Lifeline provides a creative link between food sources and hungry people. By encouraging the food industry to donate unmarketable but usable food it would otherwise discard. In this role, Food Lifeline rescues millions of pounds of food each year. Locally, restaurants and caterers contribute prepared food through Food Lifeline’s innovative Seattle’s Table program, and fresh produce is collected from produce wholesalers and retailers through our creative Produce for the People program. Local grocery retailers donate a variety of nutritious products from meat, dairy, fresh produce and baked goods through Food Lifeline’s effective Grocery Rescue program.

I believe it’s in SHORELINE. It is next weekend, so let your parents know about this and we encourage you all to come and help out! I’m thinking that we should meet at church BY 8:15am and leave the church at 8:30am. Remember, early is on time and on time is late. :)

Great job during Good Friday and Easter Sunday! :) I will try to post up the video as soon as possible so you guys can hear how you guys sound. It will be on Facebook. Harhar.

This Friday will be just regular Bible Study, hope to see you there!

And again, for those of you who want to help out with praise (EITHER FRIDAY OR SUNDAY) are defiantly welcome to lead or help out, ust let me or one of your leaders know!

[April Showers..]

Hello-

Stine checkin in here.. and really, when I check outside my window all I see is sleet [rain + snow] coming down..

Anyways, Easter is coming up in pretty much a week! The crew practicing for “This is Our God” has been working hard and the C&C song will be practiced by the Thanh Nien band at church this Thurs @ 6pm.

For Good Friday, April 10th- Thanh Thieu Nien are singing “This is Our God”.. Oh, LIGHTs are singing that Phil Wickham song [below], and Easter Sunday, Thanh Nien is singing “He is Lord” [Hillsong]..

Don’t forget that MARCH OF DIMES is coming up and get people to donate here [or you, donate!].. We’ll be Walking only 3 miles [just like you're walking around Greenlake ONCE] on Sat. April 25th.. For those of you who sign up to do this walk- you’re in for a special treat from Stine and Thien!!

Also.. one of the biggest things looming on the horizon is: HDLT’09! [Hoi Dong Lua Thieng '09] which is going to be Sat. May 23rd-Sun. May 24th.. BUT!!!!!!!! On Friday the 22nd we’re hosting the “Willa-Type” talent/praise kind of thing at Lynnwood Church.. I’m hoping to invite some of the Canadians to come down early and join in w/the fun! Spread the word about that and please call/text/email me if you’re interested.

I can’t believe it’s April already.. Amazing! Hope you guys are all doing well.. that Lent is going well and that you’re geared up for all the upcoming events! Love you all very much!
